We just watched Sen. Lindsey Graham's speech at the Republican National Convention. Did anybody notice the really odd video stuff going on in the background? Who thought it was a good idea to put photos of military cemeteries in the background during a speech on military victory? I get what they were trying to do, but why not photos of air craft carriers or square-jawed army rangers or something?
That's an interesting stone, isn't it? I thought it was. Took me a while to figure out what it reminded me of.
I think Scooby would've liked it. Or maybe not.

What comes to mind:
You've discovered the missing ink!! (animation joke)
or....insert various Lincoln Log jokes here.
I missed the speech-i-fyin' tonight. Anything good?
I was wondering about the cornfields behind McCain...
I never scared much for old Scoobie-Doo and all his pals, for some reason. I guess I'm just not cool that way!
I did notice last night that the images behind the speaker did bring forth some rather odd images and thoughts in my mind, and I wondered why they did not realize ahead of time it would be a problem.
Rach, I just had to share this with you. It sounds like something one of your guys would do.
pg - ahhhh, Lincoln logs! Love 'em.
beth - the pictures were often distracting. just sort of odd.
annie - You don't love the original old Scooby Doo cartoons??? That's just...wrong. I'm gonna have to light a candle for you!
zorra - what a hoot!! Love that story, and yeah, it sounds just like one of my guys.
It's like they just could not stop. Like if a little bit of log was good then LOTS of log was even better!
It reminds me of Winnie the Pooh. Totally a hole he would get stuck in trying to get honey.
I think if you hit the right knot in the tree, it will open up a door to a torture dungeon like in Princess Bride. But that's just me.
mindy - ha ha! I was totally not thinkin' WtP, but you've got a good point.
dijea - I like how you think!!!
I had the same thought as dijea...
Bunny - I love that I'm not alone on this. It just proves I'm not completely nuts.
