Friday Cemetery Blogging

This photo is another that I took in Dallas. Thanks to Dijea to pointing this shot out to me. I love the colors. (Haven't tweaked 'em. This is straight out of the camera.)

I feel like writing, but the well is dry this evening. I came home from teaching a class of alcoholics about stress relief to find Jackson in the mood for CFFG. (Chick Flicks For Guys) I had to endure the last five minutes of 8 Seconds and the last 45 minutes of Radio.

(Have I mentioned that he also likes those gawd-awful country songs that are saccharinly weepy? Like "Butterfly Kisses" and that sort of ilk? There are some things that we are so not compatible about.)

Anyway, that sort of crap will suck all the good thoughts right out of your head.

I'm goin' to bed!

CFFG will definately be added to the lexicon in the Incredible household. Mr Incredible LOVES to watch re-runs of American Idol - which I think is the stupidest thing ever - it's not my favorite the first time around!

Awesome picture! I love the sun through the tree.

Never heard of CFFG. That's a good one. And you know, it is good that Katie gets some exposure to the dark side.

I rock! I think maybe I should be a scout for movie locations or a camera man. Job Search Alert.

CFFG - new one for me too. See my husband likes that gawd awful Kiss and is addicted to video games. Hockey 2009 came out and I haven't seen him in 3 days.

I'm in a writing funk too. Maybe the moon is in some weird cycle or gawd forbid - in some scary astrological dimension. I need to start over today.

On an unrealted note, our nearby TGI Friday's as a big poster of WonderWoman. Everytime I see it, I think of you!

Beautiful picture! My guest room will be done in a couple of weeks, would you like to come this winter and take some cemetary pix in the snow?

I hate to ruin everyone's mojo, but I think it's the pollution in Dallas that makes the light so pretty. Yeah. Sorry about that.

CFFG is great! And I'm with ya on those terrible country songs.

esperanza, you may be right about the pollution thing.

Rach - my husband got me the new Nikon D90 for my B-day. I'm going to give you a run for your money. Maybe not on cemeteries, but pics.

So, does Jackson have Red Sovine's "Teddy Bear" or Kenny Starr's "Blind Man In the Bleachers?"

I like the color too and the sun shining through the tree.

Jeff I do not have Red Sovine but much to Rach's delight as with every Rocky movie and Bushisms, I can sing it for her on cue. Of course all names and situations have to be changed to avoid copyright infringement, so Teddy bear becomes some random kid down the road, the truck ride becomes a tractor and the cb call from the mom becomes a frantic 911 call to the police because she got home before the farmers brought the kid with no-arms (instead of kid in wheel chair) back to the house. All and all it follows the same channel as my Christmas special song: "I saw Momma expose herself to Santa Clause".

One day I will "recordificate" them for you with my digital "recordification device".
