Sure looks like a deserted and desolate place. Is that the regular color of that cross? Are you sure you don't have a pithy comment to go with this photo?

Cool, huh? Yes, it's really that color blue and it really matched the sky. I will admit I tweaked the other colors a bit in photoshop. And threw on a watercolor filter. Email me if you're interested and I'll send you the original photo.

As for pithy comment, I am fresh out of pithy this evening. Couldn't think of a darn thing!

Must be something goin' around. I ran out of pith myself tonight!

annie said...

No pith. So all y'all got left is vinegar??

spookyrach said...

Bwaaahaha! Annie evidently has gallons of pith!

I think it's Steve from Blue's Clues grave...how's that for pith?

*snickers at annie and then HOWLS at bunny*

I thought it looked so sad until I read the comments.

I hear Steve died from a Meth overdose. Did you look around to see if Mikey's grave is there? He mixed poprocks and coke and it killed him.

Mindy, yours REALLY got me laughing! I still think the photo looks extremely forlorn and haunting, though (great job, Rach).

It looks more like a sword wedged into the ground instead of a cross - maybe its the Highlander?

I thought this had something to do with your previous post ... ya know ... lack of sex and blue body parts.

jonboy said...

... and dying. Don't forget the dying.

ROFLMAO! Bwa hahahahaha

Needed it today too.

And in my unimaginative way, I thought this would be something I'd like framed and hung on my wall. . .

Lori said...

Goodness gracious, Jonboy, have pithy on us!

Patti said...

I think it's a beautiful shot! I never would have connected it to the previous post...

I thought the pop rocks Mikey ate had spider eggs in them...

spookyrach said...

Jan - thanks!!! I'm kind of thinking the same thing. Wonder if I can find any more empty wall space in my office...?

PG - Argh! That was just pithyful.

Patti - Bwaaahahaha! Spider eggs! That was good. And you're right, I NEVER would have connected it to the previous post either. *shakes head sadly*

Lori said...

Oh, Rach, I am so sorry if I pithed you off!

spookyrach said...

It's ok, PG. I was pithically over it now, anyway.

Lori said...

Thank goodness. Because I know you are not apithetic and these issues are important to you.

*ducking from shoe thrown at my head*

spookyrach said...

True, but it would be a real pithy to let those issues come between us. Our friendship is so much more impithant than that.

Lori said...

I so appithiate what you are saying.

Will you think I've lost my pith if I tell you that when I first looked at this, I got scared? Whatever could be happening to me?
