I'm trying out a new program. It's called Windows Live Writer and it's a free download. It allows you to type blog posts and then posts them for you. The reason I'm using it is that I've heard it makes the gawd-awful blogger photo uploads a thing of the past.
So far, so good.

Verdict: I LIKE IT! The only problem was it didn't choose the correct font, but I finally figured out how to change the font before posting. Would be nice if you could choose a default font, but so far no luck. The good thing is your photo uploads immediately and you can easily position it wherever you want in your post, as opposed to blogger which tends to delete my photos when I try to move them.
You can also re-size the photos before publishing. Niiiice.
Is there a Mac version of this??
Cool beans, especially the part about re-sizing before publishing. And I love the photo!
Too bad I don't understand one single word that any of you have said. Oh, wait...."..I love the photo" makes total sense to me.
PG - I doubt there is a mac version because it is a Microsoft program. But, who knows? Probably MAC thought of it first and there is a version of their own out there somewhere. haha.
Annie - I think I'm really going to like this. You just hit publish and voila! - your photo is up immediately.
dustbunny - you're a nut! haha! Thanks for the compliment.
I love the photo.
Cool! I may have to try it.
But the photo does not show up if I read your post on BLoglines! (Whaaa, whaaa, whaaa!) It's kind of ok, because I have taken to reading my regular people's post that I read all the time from my own blog when I see they have a new post...but just wanted to let you know.
I'll have to look into it.
I have never ever heard of this.
Going to have to check it out.
that looks like a place we pulled off the road so the Teen could take a leak - behind the grain mill - nothing else in the deserted town was open - and no one was there - aaahhh vacation travelling through west TX
