'Cause all the cool kids are doing it.
I saw this on little david's blog. I'm freakishly alarmed by how high it is on the feeling end versus the thinking end. It's not necessarily wrong, I just don't like it. I'd much rather be Spock than Oprah. Perhaps I've spent too much time listening to people and trying to decipher what they really mean about what they don't say that I get really tuned in to feelings. Maybe?
Of course, Spock wasn't without feelings, he was just very much in control of them. Maybe I could claim the same?
Maybe not.

I am so curious about this little test. I am going to have to do it! I am Spock reincarnated (but with vague hugging tendencies)! As I have gotten older, I am trying to work harder at loosening up my Spockian tendencies.
That is hard work, trying to figure out what people really mean by what they don't say. I'd imagine that takes talent!
Okay, Rach, I'm going to go take it! It look interesting.
"Welcome to fake cow city where the introverts stare at their own shoes and the extraverts stare at your's"
Thanks for your comment.
I'll take Mr. Spock with his control of emotions over Dr. Spock and his lack of discipline in child rearing. Discipline is love and is not abuse.
For this version of the test, I was lower T (thus higher F) than I usually am. fwiw

Here is my results. I am the Overseer (Protector). Very much of an Extraverted Thinker. I when I stare at your shoes I am thinking, "What in the Blue Hell made them think those shoes were a good idea?"
*snickers @ Oprah*
See...you ARE touchy feely!!
I can't WAIT to get to work and give you a hug!!
*GRINS REALLY BIG* Love you sunshine!!
Mindy: I hate you.
Jackson: You seem to have some sort of shoe fetish that I was previously unaware of. Hmm...
Vicar: So, does it tick you off or are you ok with that?
Prescott: Hope things are going ok for you. As far as I'm concerned, there is only one Spock and he NEVER tried to tell anyone how to raise a kid. *grins*
Janie: Let us know how it turns out!
Annie: Don't give in to the dark side! Embrace you anti-hugging tendencies. Hee hee!
You don't hate me poppet. And now I have the test right there on your blog to prove it.
~does her best Sally Fields before the Boniva commercials impression~
She loves me! She really loves me!
Every time I take this type of test I get the same result: ENTJ. I haven't seen any of the bloggers I read with this one. By the way, the nickname for this personality type is "the Field Marshall." Hmmmm.
I'm another INFP. Always. Glad to meet you! But I'm going to sit waaaaaay over here, okay? :)
no not really
Hey QG: I'm an ENTJ too!!! We're both Chief's....Although I, apparently, have misplaced my tribe.
So, Rachel, I suspected you were a crusty on the outside, soft on the inside (that's soft as in a good thing, not soft as in weak in the head....Geez I hate this compulsion to explain myself lately) Anyway, that describes many of my best friends.
As for Jackson, it sounds like he needs to try out for "Last Comic Standing" next time they come around.
Mindy: I hate you more today than yesterday.
QG: I'm not surprised. You strike me as a natural born leader.
Mary Beth: Yo! No problem-o with the seating arrangements. TOtally get that.
PG: The Lost Tribe...hmmm...
And just because I can understand yer feelings doesn't mean I respect or like them! Soft?! Soft??! That really hurts. *sniff*
Hello from an INFJ - although my j & p are really close. And that's a 100% introvert.
Jackson's too funny!
I once had a dog
and named him Fred
But then one day
Fred was dead.
I search for the cause
that brought this dred
until I small Poppet Red/
Red was spooky
and evil to the core
when I brought Fred home
Red once swore
One day when your out and about
I will snuff your Fred Dog out.
So I searched for the weapon
But suddenly stopped lookin
Fred's demize came about
By Red's cookin.
So Puppet, whats for dinner tonight?
But I will love you even more tomorrow....
That will always be our song.
Ha! Ha!
I get Batman and Darth Vader. You get E.T. and Wesley Crusher (what a wus).
Yeah, but I also got Tolkien, Shakespeare and Fox Mulder. And I'm not nearly as old and crotchety as you are.
Wesley Crusher was a wuss, though. No argument there.
Tolkien is cool, but Shakespeare had some serious issues and I'm not sure that Mulder ever found what he was looking for.
Maybe so, but Shakespeare's issues were highly entertaining and what good would Mulder have been if he'd actually found evidence?
