Well, there you are! What great pics. Looks like you had fun. I love the one of the lake and the trees. That's gorgeous!

And fishing. What different styles you all have. While you opt for the traditional pole and bait, Jackson commands the fish to jump forth using only his pointy fingers. And young Katie merely grasps them by the fin and pulls them out. Interesting.

I thought Jackson was lecturing the fish: "Unless you are THIS big, don't even bother."
Great pics!!

Great pics! Dave's wondering whose bones those are...

PG: And guess who didn't catch anything? Me! So much for pole and bait theory.

Mindy: Thanks. I like that pic too. She gives me that look a lot. I dunno why...

Dust Bunny: He claims that is how big the fish was that he caught and released while I wasn't there. Yeah...right.

Rev Kim: Thanks! Tell Dave I said "Muhwaaahahahahaaa!" (I think we're going to make a wind chime out of the bones. Although Katie thinks people will see it and think we're weird. Silly Katie.)

How peaceful. Where is this tranquil place? Can you reveal the location to the entire world? Did you camp too?

Jenstar: San Angelo State Park. You would love it! Seriously. We camped on the north shore/at the north entrance. It was the old people area, according to Mr. Young Ranger at the South Entrance who was just a teeny bit competitive with Mr. Crotchety Ranger at the North Entrance. It was soooo quiet and soooo peaceful and we camped under a huge canopy of old pecan trees. DEFINITELY going back there again.

mmm... looks lovely and peaceful - I love San Angelo - the oasis in the midst of the desert - that's how I always thought of it when I was younger...

pmp - absolutely!

Elastigirl - lots of rugged beauty around there. Miles and miles from anywhere else.

Lovely pics. I can't imagine why Katie would have to give you such a look!

(I should have known you were away when there was no, ahem, Friday cemetery blog!)

I love the San Angelo area. The Scientist went to high school there. It looks like you had a wonderfully relaxing time.

Wait, spring break without snow? How can that be???

Glad you had a great time.

We were there on that lake! In a wakeboarding boat!

If we had coordinated better, we could have met!

Dang it!

Glad you had a good time.
