A Couple of Photos

Been playing with photoshop again. The top shot is from a church started by a group of slaves in the 1870's in Corsicana. It was a very cool building.
The second one is pretty self explanatory - a rainy cemetery in Athens.

So how's your week going? Mine is still windy and sandy.

And windy.

With sand.

It's stopped raining here. Today. The only thing around these parts that are windy with sand are flatulent crustaceans.

Both pics are very cool. Though you'd think Greeks would have more ornate statuary in their marble orchards.

We are now under a Winter Weather Storm Warning. Whoopie.
We are supposed to get 1/2 inch of freezing rain followed up with 6 to 8 inches of snow.
This is supposed to hit around 6 or 7 tonight, so hopefully I will be home long before the fun starts.

"Flatulent crustaceans" THAT made me LOL!!

After two days of NORTH TEXAS BURNING, I woke up to wet sidewalks & not much wind. I went for a walk in the sunshine & listened to the Foo Fighters. The day is looking up.

I love the pictures. But I have to ask a question. There is a frame inside the picture on the bottom, was that on purpose, or did it just happen?

and now you can add snowing to the list. Well like for 6 minutes.

Love the stained glass windows!

PG - Yeah, you're right about those Greeks. But don't worry - there are a few eyeless statues in other parts of the graveyard!

Bunny - I would looooove to have your snow!! For a day or two, at least!

Dijea - It's on purpose. I'm kinda "meh" about it.

Mindy - Yep. But those six minutes were mighty fine!

Yep, yall must be windy and sandy because it's now blown all the way down here. Thanks so much.

Oh, the pictures are nice too.

Thanks, Hope! Please feel free to keep the wind and sand!

We have wind. We have sand. But the sand is intentional -- spread to give us some traction especially at intersections. So we rejoice (it doesn't blow about, much)...sand is preferable to SALT...the other remedy for slippery.

No, really. I'm sure you need your backyard returned. Thanks for your thoughtful gift, though.
