Friday Cemetery Blogging

Posted by Picasa

Virgins promis'd when I died,

That they would each primrose-tide,

Duly, morn and ev'ning, come,

And with flowers dress my tomb.

Having promis'd, pay your debts,

Maids, and here strew violets.

- An Epitaph, #103

Thanks again to Katherine.

Grrr. Blogger always darkens my photos. Geeze.

Yeah, that is frustrating - but it still is really cool!

Looks like more of contrast issue because your sky isn't all that dark. Depending on what program you are using to download the pix, you should be able to adjust accordingly prior to posting the photo.

On the other hand, it makes everything look more dead ... if that is possible.

I think it has a more SPOOKY quality that way - which is appropriate.

A dark, forboding wasteland...

A wasteland SACKED by Nancy the Hun!

Nancy the Hun - BWAAAHAHAHAHAAA!

jonboy - I had the photo adjusted to just the right spookiness in my photoprogram, but when uploaded to blogger, it is a darker - too dark. Da bums!

That is a cool photo. You know, many years back, I bought candy that was in little tombstones with fake epitaphs on them. I think I still have them in a shadow box somewhere. I'll have to find them and share the epitaphs with you...I'll take pictures and post them on my blog...if I ever get my phone service connected again...which probably will happen soon...now that my computer is having hard drive problems....

Anyway, the photo is nice!!

That's what I'm saying, you have to adjust it according to bloggers specs.

Gee, I wish my brother paid as much attention to my blog as yours does to yours. Of course, I realize that Jonboy has a lot of "sittin' in front of the computer pretending to be busy" time, too.
