Friday Cemetery Blogging

The Christmas Cards are here! If you would like a tombstone Christmas card, email me your address and I'll send 'em out as long as they last.

If you happen to be in Fake Cow tomorrow night, Rose and I will be doing our once yearly good deed. We'll be ringing bells for the Salvation Army at Wally-World from 5:00 until 8:00. It's supposed to be pretty dang cold, so stop by and keep us company.

Here's a bit of a challenge for you - these two stones represent my all-time favorite TV show. What is it? (It's really pretty easy, but first one to figure it out is my bestest friend for the day.)

Hooray with British TV!

that was my guess too - so let me make up another just in case - you love the episode where the Lone Ranger and Tonto get fed up with one another and Tonto peels off on his steed... lame, i know

I too am a loser...

Do you still have my address from last year? Getting a cemetery card from you has become a bit of a...ummm...Christmas tradition??

Yay! Lori and I are bestest friends today. ha ha! Although Elastigirl gets sort of a sympathetic chuckle for trying real, real hard. Ha ha!

None of y'all are losers!

Yep, I still have your address, annie. Your card will be on it's way soon!

I HAVE my card already and I LOVE it!!!

And I will not be at Wally World at that hour. So sorry. Can I give you my change now???

Does the Salvation Army do pay pay? Or should I just drop mine in the kettle when RLP is doing his yearly bit here in SA?

I want a tombstone Christmas card! So I emailed you...

Dave & I will be ringing the bell for SA, too. Too bad we couldn't ring together - now that would be fun!

Cynthia - you should drop RLP like a hot potato and get thee to west Texas. ha ha! But, I suppose I'm just being selfish, so give him your alms with my blessing. ~grins~

Kim - I'll get one in the mail to you. thanks! I agree - too bad we can't ring together. Y'all could have one door and Rose and I the other, and we could try to recruit each others' donations and it would be all competitive, and then there would be name-calling and maybe somebody's kettle would get jacked and...

Well. Maybe that's not such a good idea after all...

Diana Rigg still makes me drool. Emma Peel forever!

spookyrach said...

Yeah. Even at, like, 75 years old, she's still cool. :)

Dang I'm late. Yup, The Avengers where Diana Rigg was the best Steed cohort of any of them!! The others were pretenders!! And I'd like a steel hat jut like his!!

Lori said...

that's "just" like his, though it does have a jaunty jut.

Hooray! I needed a new bestest friend, even if it was just for the day. I've not seen my old bestest friend in weeks!!!

Our first week in London in the fall of 1969, we went to see "Abelard and Heloise" with Diana Peel in the Heloise role...the sight of her on stage in a flesh-coloured body stocking (an innocent age, my dears) just about fused my then-husband's nervous system for good.

Ahh, The Avengers. My first dose of English TV, and I've craved it ever since! Good luck at Wally World.
